The album's first single was "Silence Is Talking" released on 20 July 2009. Some of the other songs on the album such as "The End" & "Hidden Persuaders" were debuted live on Oasis' Dig Out Your Soul Tour when the band was supporting them along with Kasabian & The Enemy, most notably at the Wembley Stadium 3 night run. The band will tour the UK in October and November of this year in support of the album.
The album is the follow up to the 175,000 selling 2007 Top 5 album The State of Things (which spawned several hit singles including Heavyweight Champion of the World and He Said He Loved Me ). The album has unquestionable universal appeal and features 10 tracks covering topics such as global warming, Prozac and consumerism, but with a sense of optimism and positivity. Musically the new album embraces 60 s psychedelia alongside a thoroughly modern and vibrant sound. Wall of Sound. 2009.
